With the planet's natural resources being compromised at an alarming rate, there is no time left to be complacent. Subterranean Hair is passionate about the footprint it leaves in its community and the world around us. That's why we are so proud to announce that we have become a certified Green Circle Salon. We are gracious to have partnered with a serious company, taking real action and making a significant difference.
This means that up to 95% of our salons' waste is recovered and repurposed, and kept out of landfills and waterways. We seperate everything by Paper, Plastic, Metal, Single-Use materials, PPE, Hair and even Hair Color. These materials are then picked up at Subterranean Hair and turned into the following materials to just name a few:
