How can you make every client feel like your muse? A muse is a source of inspiration that helps to unlock your originality; often allowing the artist to create bespoke and memorable looks. Garrett Markenson, founder of Reverie and one of the most sought after LA hairdressers amongst the punk and rock musicians has built his following by creating interesting and unique haircuts.

This workshop includes:

  • Group discussion and interpretation of influential references

  • Focus on intimate design features that make haircuts and looks memorable

  • Razor cutting, dry cutting and hand styling demos on live models

  • Create meaningful and effective consultations

  • Reverie storytelling

  • One-on-one mentoring during hands-on practice

  • Creative photography and polaroids of your work

  • Light refreshments and snacks

  • 10am - 1pm: Demo Only

    • $200 per person / $150 per person 2+

  • 10am - 5pm Demo + Hands-On (Space limited to 6 people)

    • $500 per person

*Students participating in hands-on practice will need to bring an appropriate muse. Once confirmed for the workshop, an ideal model description will be emailed to you. If you are traveling from out of town, please let us know and we will work with you to find a model.
